David Prager Vice President e-Business Solutions and Program Management

The opportunity to make a difference in the industry - that fuels David Prager to lead new innovations in e-Business with STRATA.  “I feel like I’ve been doing that one way or another my whole career,” the London, England native Prager said with a smile.  “I love being ahead of the game, on the cutting edge of technology and being on the cusp of revolutionary movements.”

Prager is the former President of Click IT Solutions, a consultancy firm dedicated to helping organizations within the media industry maximize their use of technology.  His client list included the Television Bureau of Advertising, for whom he architected and managed the development of the ePort project, the SNTA, for whom he helped TV Syndicators to implement Electronic Invoicing, as well as Comcast Spotlight, for whom (among several projects) he helped create an Outsourced Print Center to support their invoicing needs.

Before founding Click IT Solutions, Prager was Chief Information Officer for the Katz Media Group, the largest representation firm of radio and television stations in the US.  Prior to joining Katz, he worked as a systems architect with Applied Information Systems (AIS), a software development company in Maryland.  Prager also served as Director of Technology Innovation with the New York State Department of Social Services in Albany.

Prager joined STRATA in 2009 and is responsible for new business opportunities in the arena of e-Business, which will provide additional value for STRATA’s clients.  “I had worked with STRATA as a consultant and was extremely impressed with John (Shelton), Joy (Baer) and the company because of their vision and the difference they are making in the industry.”

Prager has also taken on the role of Engagement Manager for Comcast Spotlight, managing their development portfolio, and also coordinating STRATA’s Custom Division (SBS) resources to ensure the greatest level of productivity to meet their short and long term needs. 

A little known fact about Prager, if you can’t find him at his computer, you may find him at the poker tables.  “I finished second at the 2009 US Poker Championships for 7 card stud.  I will say that was a rush.”
