STRATA Announces Executive Promotions

CHICAGO, IL  - STRATA, a leading media buying and selling software provider, today announced the promotion of two managers to Vice President.

Robert Burkhart has been promoted to Vice President, Agency Development. Burkhart joined STRATA through the acquisition of Spot Buy Spot in 2005. Prior to Spot Buy Spot, Burkhart served as Senior Vice President and Director of Media Systems for Universal McCann. While at STRATA, Burkhart has led the product management team that engineered development of STRATA’s digital platform for agencies.  His leadership was paramount in building out STRATA’s Business Intelligence and National TV buying platforms along with modifying the architecture approach to leverage high volume cloud computing.

Jin Lim has been promoted to Vice President, Media Research and Development. Lim who joined STRATA in 2003, holds a mathematics degree from the University of Chicago and Master of Science, Computer Science from DePaul University. The point person for research and development at STRATA, Lim has hosted several summits of top research people in the industry to advance innovation in media buying and selling software. Multifaceted in programming technology, Lim oversees development in all divisions of STRATA’s business including Agency, Cable, Television and Radio. She leads the company’s team of programmers in core system programming including all data mining, statistical methodology and propriety algorithms and calculations engine.
